Design and Implementation of Online Ticketing and Travel Reservation System ( A Case Study of Imo State Transport Company Service )

This research work is aimed at developing an online ticketing and travel reservation system, focused on the policy operations and information requirement of Bus transport companies.  In developing the work, on-line services will be highlighted similar work obtainable elsewhere will be reviewed while the present system of ticketing seat reservation of the case study (ITC) Transport will be particularly analyzed. The first chapter of this project deals with the general introduction. Chapter two of the study examines the literature review. Chapter three deals with system analysis, design and specification of input and output forms. Chapter four deals with implementation, programming of the system and training of staff.  Finally, chapter five highlight on the summary, recommendation, conclusion and reference. The new system was designed using Microsoft ASP.NET and HTML programming language.
