The analysis of data reveals the present of the activities of MDGs in the state and the local government education authorities. Based on the findings, it was recommended among others that; government at all levels should step-up deliberate effort to increase funding to the education sector, and in doing this budgetary allocation to education sector should be reviewed upward to a mandatory given percentage that all levels of government i.e Federal, State and Local government must comply with. Finally, managers of the education sector should be professionals and not political allies and/or loyalists to the leader at the top.
