LIFE EXPECTANCY OF AN AVERAGE NIGERIAN IN RELATION TO MAKING ENDS MEET
ABSTRACT
This research presents the results of life expectancy of an average Nigerian in relation to making ends meet. The population for the study consists of 100 people which were randomly selected, Data were gathered using a self -constructed questionnaire and the result gotten was analyzed using the simple percentage method. The validity and reliability of instrument were ascertained. Data analyzed from the research that meeting ends in Nigeria is not an easy task so it shorten the life span of Nigerian, there are no adequate plans for Nigerians by the government, the research also reveals that some socio economic factors like the income, health, employment, education etc. all influence the life expectancy of Nigerian, therefore the research recommends that it is important for every person and household in Nigeria to consume not just edible, but nutritious foods which are capable of supplying the necessary nutrients for healthy living. Also, getting educated with basic information, regardless of age will likely help in living hygienic life. In addition, adequate excreta disposal facilities that could effectively prevent animal, insect and people from having contact with excreta are to be provided in every house.
