President Ram Nath Kovind will be addressing the nation today, on the eve of the 74th Independence Day. The address will be broadcasted live at 7 pm. This was confirmed through a statement by the Rashtrapati Bhavan on August 13, 2020.

The television address will begin at 7 pm and will be broadcasted by the entire national network of All India Radio and all channels of Doordarshan in Hindi followed by the English version.

The broadcast of the address in Hindi and English will be followed by broadcast in regional languages by regional channels of Doordarshan. The AIR will be broadcasting regional language versions of the President’s Address from 9.30 PM on their respective regional networks.
