Responsibilities:

  • Assist in supporting the Morgan Stanley at Work COO organization across multiple projects and stakeholders
  • Create and update polished executive level reports and presentations
  • Process SPAR & Consultant requests in order to shift invoices to appropriate systems, i.e. Ariba and Fieldglass
  • Assist with identifying recurring payments and the registration to Morgan Stanley third party system for monthly processing
  • Assist users with training for Morgan Stanley systems for procurement [Ariba] , planned events [EnC] and expense submissions [Concur]
  • This role will be key in ensuring the Shareworks Billing Operations and Morgan Stanley AP teams in the migration of AP from Solium legacy systems to Morgan Stanley systems to use proper systems for procurement and expense processing
  • Work with the MS at Work organization and other internal stakeholders across Wealth Management to execute cross-divisional strategy
  • Manage MS at Work organizational expenses and investment budget
  • Provide vendor and consultant management support
  • Real estate & space management planning
  • Drive various business management initiatives across Morgan Stanley at Work
  • Build and document flows, processes and business controls to streamline the organization and mitigate risks
  • Point of contact for vendor and payment requests
  • Lead training for SW regional offices [EMEA, APAC & AMER]

QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required. 3-5 years’ experience including financial services related internships
  • Experience in business strategy and management is a plus
  • Ability to work independently and possess a strong sense of accountability/ownership
  • Must be a self-starter and a quick learner, able to prioritize and delegate effectively to manage delivery/execution of a wide range of tasks and initiatives
  • Strong written, verbal, presentation and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with business partners and senior management
  • Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook
  • Ability to work in a team environment and partner with multiple individuals across various groups
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, aptitude for working with numerical information.
  • Experience and strong aptitude in using different processing and accounting systems.
  • Demonstrated effectiveness with both oral and written communication.

Team Profile:

The Firm Resilience Function owns the identification and resilience for the Firm’s key business services and coordinates operational resilience efforts across Firm, including the Fusion Resilience Center, Third Party Program Management, Operational Risk and Technology.
Firm Resilience works with Legal and Compliance to interpret regulatory guidance on operational resilience and is responsible for advising Business Units on standards and implementation. The function also works with Regulatory Relations and the Business Units to review and respond to regulatory requests and prepare for regulatory exams touching on operational resilience.

As a member of our team, you will be in a unique position to interact with people and teams globally across different businesses and functions, working on topics that have a direct impact on the operational stability of the Firm.

  • Ensuring that required resilience activities are appropriately owned by the business and embedded into their business planning and management processes
  • Supporting the development and maintenance of the Business Service Resilience Framework, including policies, procedures, and program plans
  • Supporting business areas in assessing potential operational vulnerabilities by identifying and documenting Key Business Services, associated end-to-end processes and underlying assets that support them
