Abstract
This study was undertaken to assess the strategies for marketing antiaids drugs in Nigeria, A Case Study of Roche Nigeria Limited the first pharmaceutical company to introduce Anti-Aids drugs in Nigeria. AIDS, a deadly disease, is rising fast to the top of our public Health agenda from a relatively obscurity ten years ago. The great
innovations in drug therapy have given hope to physicians and patients alike, the combination of drugs have been documented to delay disease progression and improve quality of life. It is now almost possible to live a normal life with AIDS. The study therefore will further enhance combating this problem if an effective marketing strategy is identified, as a necessary measure towards arresting the alarming rate of death due to AIDS. It will also
serve as an indispensable guide for pharmaceutical companies intending to introduce and / or to adopt strategic marketing decisions on Anti-AIDS drugs in Nigeria.
