Abstract:
Unemployment among youth in Nigeria has emerged as a significant socio-economic challenge, hindering national development and causing widespread disillusionment. This paper examines the potential of business education as a panacea for addressing the issue of youth unemployment in Nigeria. Business education equips individuals with the knowledge, skills, and entrepreneurial mindset necessary to start and manage successful enterprises, thereby creating employment opportunities.

The study reviews relevant literature on youth unemployment in Nigeria, exploring its causes and consequences. The research highlights the current state of business education in Nigeria, including its curriculum, teaching methodologies, and alignment with industry needs. Additionally, it examines the impact of business education on youth employment, drawing from case studies and empirical evidence from both national and international contexts.
