Abstract

This paper explores the relationship between reading motivation and reading achievement among students. The study examines various factors that contribute to reading motivation, including intrinsic and extrinsic motivational factors, as well as their influence on students’ reading performance and comprehension. The findings suggest that students with higher levels of reading motivation, particularly intrinsic motivation, tend to exhibit better reading achievement, including improved reading fluency, comprehension, and overall academic performance. The study provides insights into the importance of fostering reading motivation in educational settings and highlights potential strategies for enhancing students’ engagement and success in reading.
