The study highlights the pivotal role of skilled and empathetic educators, as well as collaborative partnerships with specialists and support staff, in creating inclusive learning environments. However, the research also uncovers challenges in the provision of inclusive education for students with visual impairments, including limited access to specialized resources, the need for ongoing professional development for educators, and considerations for physical accessibility and inclusive design. Additionally, cultural perceptions and attitudes towards visual impairments may influence the acceptance and implementation of inclusive practices within the Nigerian educational context. The findings of this case study carry substantial implications for inclusive education policy and practice in Nigeria. Recommendations are provided for the further development and expansion of inclusive education initiatives, emphasizing increased investment in professional development for educators, provision of accessible resources, and community engagement initiatives to promote understanding and support for students with visual impairments. This research contributes to the broader discourse on inclusive education and the empowerment of students with visual impairments. By showcasing the effectiveness of inclusive education practices within the Nigerian context, this study advocates for the widespread adoption and integration of evidence-based practices to create inclusive learning environments.
