ABSTRACT
This research project focuses on improving business educators’ usage of synchronous interactive resources for teaching and learning business education programmes in tertiary institutions in Ekiti State in the post-COVID-19 era. The study aims to explore effective strategies to enhance business educators’ utilization of synchronous interactive resources, such as video conferencing, virtual classrooms, and collaborative online tools, to facilitate engaging and interactive instruction in the business education field.
A mixed-methods research design will be employed, encompassing surveys, interviews, and observation of instructional practices. The research objectives include assessing the current usage of synchronous interactive resources by business educators, identifying the challenges and barriers to their effective utilization, investigating best practices for integrating these resources into business education programmes, and proposing strategies to enhance business educators’ usage of synchronous interactive resources.
The findings of this research project will contribute to the existing body of knowledge by providing insights into the improvement of business educators’ usage of synchronous interactive resources in the post-COVID-19 era. The research will assess the current usage of synchronous interactive resources by business educators, including their familiarity, comfort level, and frequency of use. Additionally, the research will identify the challenges and barriers faced by business educators in utilizing these resources effectively, such as technical difficulties, lack of training, and pedagogical concerns. Furthermore, the research will investigate best practices and innovative approaches for integrating synchronous interactive resources into business education programmes, promoting engagement, collaboration, and active learning.
