Abstract:
This research paper investigates the role of the Christian religion in combating social evils within the context of Ikwo Local Government Area. Social evils, such as corruption, violence, poverty, and moral decay, pose significant challenges to the well-being and development of communities worldwide. Religion, particularly Christianity, has historically played a vital role in addressing these societal issues.
Using a case study approach, this research examines the specific initiatives and activities undertaken by Christian religious organizations in Ikwo Local Government Area to combat social evils.
