BUSINESS EDUCATORS’ UTILIZATION OF SOFTWARE INTERNET RESOURCES FOR INSTRUCTIONAL DELIVERY IN POSTGRADUATE PROGRAMME IN RIVERS STATE UNIVERSITIES
Abstract:
This abstract provides an overview of a study focused on exploring the utilization of software internet resources by business educators for instructional delivery in postgraduate programmes within Rivers State universities. The study aims to understand the extent to which business educators in this context leverage software internet resources to enhance their teaching practices and improve student learning outcomes.
In recent years, advancements in technology and the proliferation of internet resources have profoundly transformed the field of education. Software internet resources, in particular, offer various innovative tools and platforms that can potentially enhance instructional delivery and engage students in postgraduate business programmes. However, the utilization of these resources among business educators in the context of Rivers State universities has not been extensively examined.
This study adopts a mixed-methods research design, incorporating both quantitative and qualitative data collection techniques. A survey questionnaire will be administered to a sample of business educators in postgraduate programmes across different universities in Rivers State to gather quantitative data on their current utilization of software internet resources. Additionally, in-depth interviews will be conducted with a subset of participants to obtain qualitative insights into their experiences, challenges, and perceptions regarding the integration of software internet resources into their instructional practices.
The findings of this study are expected to contribute to the existing literature on instructional technology integration in business education and provide valuable insights for educational policymakers, curriculum developers, and university administrators. By identifying the current state of software internet resource utilization among business educators in postgraduate programmes, this research aims to highlight potential areas for improvement and inform strategies for enhancing instructional practices in this specific context.
